“L” I Learned

July 12th, 2007 by · No Comments · Uncategorized

I have learned that the copyright laws are a lot more extensive as it applies to teaching.  I was slightly surprised that even for the right reason copyright law was being violated on a great scale.  It was very disconcerting to realize that copyright infringement was common place in schools with lack of materials as the rational to violate the law.

“W” What I wondered.

I wondered about the level of copyright violation that was occurring at my school based on the conditions available and the teachers doing what they need to get materials to the students.

“K” what I know about copyright as it peratains to teaching.

My knowledge of copyright as it applies to teaching is very minimal.  As teachers a lot of times we are required to make copies of materials from books and other media.  I believe that we are not allowed to make copies of certain material.  I really do not know what the parameters are.

Knoledge Means $$$$$$

When establishing the direction of ones’ life it is imperative to garner a sense of ones past, having an understanding of who you are by knowing from where you come from is the beginning of the present. The future holds limit less possibilities as long as learning is a never ending pursuit. So remember as Ghandi said “Live as if you will die tomorrow and Learn as if you will live for ever”
